Facility Assistant

Full Job Description

This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in supporting funeral operations and maintaining our facilities to the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is willing to assist wherever needed in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist funeral directors with services, visitations, and daily operations
• Prepare and set up for funeral and memorial services
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all facilities
• Assist with the respectful handling and transport of deceased individuals
• Perform laundry duties as needed
• Clean and maintain company vehicles
• Run errands between locations and to local vendors
• Provide general support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and respect
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks as needed
